Todd Bell and Don Addington Take the Helm for the New Year
ATLANTA (January 16, 2011) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced that Todd Bell, South Area vice president and CIO for Verizon Wireless has been elected as chairman for the 2012 TAG board of directors. Don Addington, president and CEO of Mobile Labs, will serve as vice chairman and finance chair.
“TAG is fortunate to have a dedicated and passionate board of directors who provide guidance and support for our efforts to unite Georgia’s technology community and get the state recognized as one of the top destinations in the U.S. for technology business,” stated Tino Mantella, TAG CEO and President. “We are pleased that Todd and Don have agreed to lead the board for the next year and believe they will help us continue to drive the momentum created under the leadership of our past chair, Sean Feeney, to build a strong, unified and celebrated technology community.”
In his leadership role at Verizon Wireless, Bell is responsible for overseeing all Desktop, Server, WAN and Telecommunications infrastructure at Verizon Wireless. Bell has been a member of the TAG board of directors since 2006 and has served on numerous committees, including most recently as chair of the 2011 and 2012 Excalibur Awards.

Don is President and CEO at Mobile Labs, a company that offers enterprise test tools for mobile applications. Prior to this, Don served as President, Americas for supply-chain software provider ORTEC, and was the CEO of integration software provider Seagull Software. Addington joined TAG over 10 years ago and is currently serving as chair of the Finance Society committee. He has also served on the Business Launch Taskforce and as chair of the CEO-to-CEO Taskforce.
