Alan Dabbiere of AirWatch Joins TAG Board of Directors

ATLANTA (January 16, 2012) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced that Alan Dabbiere, Founder and Chairman of AirWatch™, the global leader and innovator in mobile security, mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) has been appointed to TAG’s Board of Directors.

Dabbiere founded Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH) and moved the company to the metro-Atlanta area with 30 employees. Manhattan Associates is at 2,200 employees today. AirWatch currently has 350 employees and Dabbiere is confident that its employee growth will nearly double in 2012. “These successes demonstrate what a great environment Georgia has in terms of employment base, transportation with Hartsfield International Airport and overall business environment support,” said Dabbiere.

As Chairman of AirWatch, Dabbiere drives the company’s vision, direction and growth plans. Dabbiere is also the president of AJD, LLC, a privately held investment company. In addition, he serves on the boards of PrimeRevenue, an Atlanta-based supply chain finance company, the Foundation Board for Inova Health Systems, the Board of Trustees for The Potomac School in McLean, VA, and on the Advisory Board of Georgia Tech’s College of Computing, which advises College leadership on matters regarding research and education initiatives.
