ATLANTA – In the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Richie Johnson was hired as the Director of Government and Public Affairs for the organization.
In this role, Johnson will be responsible for providing leadership in developing and implementing a public policy strategy in line with TAG’s strategic plan. The Director of Government and Public Affairs will work with key stakeholders in an effort to enhance the economic health of Georgia’s technology community. In addition, Johnson will work to secure public funding that will benefit TAG and its member companies.

Johnson’s most recent experience includes managing a Congressional campaign in Tennessee. He is a former Congressional staffer where he worked closely with some of Georgia’s key leaders. He has experience in grant administration and PAC Management. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee. He and his wife currently reside in Alpharetta.
